Dermal Fillers
J. Brandt, the father of the world’s collagen believe that the broken down and loss of collagen is the main cause of skin aging. Because of the physiological difference in men and women (e.g. menstruation and fertility), collagen loss in women is 2.5 times of men.
Collagen is the main component of our skin (72% of skin and 80% of dermis). Collagen locks moisture in skin and maintains skin’s elasticity. The aging of collagen starts from 20 and becomes serious from 25. When you are 40, less than 50% of collage is left in your skin.
The loss of collagen leads to skin aging (wrinkles, dryness, roughness, looseness, large pores, pigments, etc) and joint pain.
